Delivery scope

Implement the world-selection portion of UIUX-100-FLIGHT-SETUP, preserving approved imagery, labels, selected treatment, square controls, unavailable/loading feedback, and the selected world carried into pre-flight.

Inputs

  • The ReleaseDesignContractV1 baseline from TASK-0117.
  • Training Airfield, Coastal Range, Mountain Valley, loading, and unavailable-world fixtures.

Outputs

  • A design-conformant world selector bound to canonical world IDs.
  • Visual and round-trip evidence for every world option.

Failure boundaries

  • Fail on unknown world IDs, image/copy mismatch, selection loss, dead controls, or wrong pre-flight value.
  • Prevent continuation while the selected world cannot be resolved.

Excluded scope

  • Dynamic weather and additional worlds remain excluded.
  • World loading and collision behavior remain owned by existing runtime Tasks.

Verification steps

  • Run applications/web/test/design/world-selector-design-conformance.spec.tsx.
  • Select every world, compare its visual state, and verify the exact ID reaches pre-flight.

Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.

No current implementation, acceptance, release, or deployment evidence is claimed for this planned Task. Any prior implementation may be used only as prototype and discovery evidence.
