Delivery scope

Add canonical aircraft selection to Flight Setup and route Start Your Flight there directly; the Hangar remains available for browsing and comparing aircraft but does not block starting a flight. Carry the validated aircraft snapshot through pre-flight and launch.

Failure boundaries

  • Fail release acceptance when the reproduced production behavior remains possible or the correction is not bound to the exact launched configuration.

Excluded scope

  • Do not broaden this correction into later-release Training, Logbook, or unrelated account-management scope.

Verification steps

  • Verify a signed-in player can choose Start Your Flight from Home, arrive directly at Flight Setup, and select Trainer, Jet, or Utility there.
  • Verify the selected aircraft remains identical through pre-flight and launch for mouse and keyboard use.
  • Verify the Hangar remains reachable for browsing and comparison but is not a prerequisite for a new flight.

Candidate CI run 5009 passed all nine required jobs; integration run 5025 and immutable image publication run 5024 passed on that exact integration revision. Focused tests prove Home routes directly to Flight Setup, aircraft selection requires a canonical confirmation, the exact snapshot reaches pre-flight and launch, and Hangar remains optional. Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.
