AEROSIM-TS-115

Project task

Instantiate the confirmed aircraft model and flight parameters

The launched session uses the confirmed visual aircraft model and the corresponding deterministic flight parameters.

Delivery scope

Load the exact modelAssetId, construct one aircraft entity, initialize the shared flight core with the frozen coefficient set and units, verify aircraft and parameter versions, and publish SessionAircraftState before simulation stepping begins; dispose all partial resources on failure.

Implementation contract

Implementation artifacts

  • applications/web/src/flight/aircraft/initialize-session-aircraft.ts
  • packages/flight-core/src/aircraft/apply-flight-parameters.ts
  • applications/web/test/flight/initialize-session-aircraft.spec.ts

Inputs

  • An immutable launch aircraft snapshot and loaders for its model asset and flight-core definition.
  • A reserved session initialization context before simulation step zero.

Outputs

  • One rendered aircraft entity and one flight-core aircraft state using the exact frozen coefficients.
  • SessionAircraftState with applied model and parameter identities, versions, and ready state.

Failure boundaries

  • Model-load error, parameter-set lookup error, identity/version mismatch, coefficient rejection, or cancellation disposes the entity and core state and leaves simulation stopped.
  • Repeated initialization for one context returns its existing result and cannot duplicate the aircraft entity.

Excluded scope

  • No fallback aircraft, default coefficient set, or automatic load retry is allowed.
  • In-flight aircraft switching and aircraft customization are excluded.

Verification steps

  • Run applications/web/test/flight/initialize-session-aircraft.spec.ts and compare every applied identity, version, coefficient, and unit with the launch snapshot.
  • Fail and cancel each initialization stage; assert no entity, core state, or active simulation remains.
  • Repeat initialization for the same context and assert exactly one aircraft entity and flight-core state exist.

Acceptance evidence

Verified delivery: application PR #18 reviewed head d184ce0bf88af333f210c88b4e02ff7a267cb898, exact-head validation task 1775 succeeded, merged as 5e266e36b1bcafc60a38a6dcb60333be79d46a6c; integrated Gitea Actions publish task 1778 and validate task 1779 succeeded. Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.

Current evidence boundary

No current implementation, acceptance, release, or deployment evidence is claimed for this planned Task. Any prior implementation may be used only as prototype and discovery evidence.
