Delivery scope

Define WorldCatalogueEntry with worldId, name, description, terrainAssetId, physicsProfileId, and catalogueVersion; list only supported entries in deterministic order; select one worldId; resolve it to exactly one canonical terrain configuration; and reject confirmation when the entry is absent, duplicated, disabled, or stale.

Implementation contract

Implementation artifacts

  • applications/web/src/world/world-catalogue.ts
  • applications/web/src/preflight/world/WorldSelector.tsx
  • applications/web/test/preflight/world-selector.spec.tsx

Inputs

  • The versioned world catalogue supplied after AEROSIM-FT-47 terminal tasks complete.
  • A world selection and confirm command.

Outputs

  • An ordered list of supported world summaries.
  • An immutable WorldSnapshot with worldId, terrainAssetId, physicsProfileId, and catalogueVersion.

Failure boundaries

  • Absent, duplicate, disabled, or unknown world entries return the matching catalogue code and cannot produce WorldSnapshot.
  • A catalogue-version change invalidates an existing confirmation.

Excluded scope

  • Terrain loading, session creation, world simulation, and flight rendering are excluded.
  • The task does not create or modify world assets owned by AEROSIM-FT-47.

Verification steps

  • Run applications/web/test/preflight/world-selector.spec.tsx and assert every supported catalogue entry appears once in deterministic order.
  • Assert each selection resolves to its own canonical terrainAssetId and physicsProfileId.
  • Inject absent, duplicate, disabled, unknown, and stale entries; assert confirmation is rejected without replacing the prior valid selection.

Acceptance evidence

Verified delivery: application PR #84 reviewed head e308084873d569c9b1dbd8442341c7ccd3f58150, merged as 7f26eca79eadef3171564fc60035e9866c2c848e; final whole-wave application head 7f26eca79eadef3171564fc60035e9866c2c848e: publication run 3914 succeeded and integration run 3915 succeeded. Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.

Current evidence boundary

No current implementation, acceptance, release, or deployment evidence is claimed for this planned Task. Any prior implementation may be used only as prototype and discovery evidence.
