Delivery scope

Run deterministic Rapier scenarios for controlled landing, unsafe terrain impact, obstacle impact, warning return, horizontal hard limit, altitude hard limit, automatic restore, and conclusion. Across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit record contact/boundary/recovery event traces, simulation/frame p95, CPU, and heap metrics; compare against deterministic tolerances and world-interaction budgets.

Inputs

  • WorldInteractionScenario {scenarioId,buildSha,worldAssetDigest,collisionPolicyDigest,boundaryPolicyDigest,initialState,commands,expectedEvents} and five runs per certified browser.

Outputs

  • WorldInteractionReport {scenarioId,browser,inputDigest,eventTrace,maxTraceDrift,timingMs:{simulationP95,frameP95},cpuSeconds,heapGrowthBytes,violations,passed}.

Failure boundaries

  • Fail with WORLD_EVENT_TRACE_MISMATCH when event type, order, tick tolerance, classification, recovery decision, or terminal state differs from expectedEvents.
  • Fail with WORLD_TRACE_NOT_REPEATABLE when repeated or cross-browser traces exceed config/determinism-tolerances.json.
  • Fail with WORLD_RESOURCE_BUDGET_EXCEEDED when simulation/frame p95, CPU, or heap growth exceeds config/world-interaction-budgets.json.
  • Fail with WORLD_SCENARIO_INCOMPLETE when any required scenario/browser/run lacks a terminal report or uses a different world/policy/build digest.

Excluded scope

  • Unsupported browsers, water/deformable terrain, complex damage, visual-quality scoring, server load, network behavior, and environment effects beyond the fixed fixture are excluded.

Verification steps

  • Run applications/web/test/flight/world-interaction.browser.spec.ts in Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit with five runs per scenario.
  • Assert expected event order and outcome for all eight scenarios, cross-browser tolerance, and every timing/resource budget.
  • Alter one expected event, perturb one run, lower each budget, omit one browser run, and change a policy digest; assert each named failure.
  • Retain test-results/world-interaction/report.json with exact build and all asset/policy digests.

Acceptance evidence

Verified delivery: EP3-FT2-04: application PR #115 delivered the reviewed world-interaction harness and PR #119 delivered the reviewed CI-retention forward fix, integrated finally as 7d2c2427443470537f85742eba9659105341ac73; the exact-head CI environment-consistency job executed the governed matrix and retained its report; 120 complete runs covered eight scenarios across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit with matching world/collision/boundary digests, deterministic event traces, and simulation/frame p95, descendant-browser CPU, and JavaScript heap growth within config/world-interaction-budgets.json; negative tests proved WORLD_EVENT_TRACE_MISMATCH, WORLD_TRACE_NOT_REPEATABLE, WORLD_RESOURCE_BUDGET_EXCEEDED, and WORLD_SCENARIO_INCOMPLETE for altered events, perturbed runs, each lowered budget, omitted coverage, and changed policy identity; final integration validation and immutable image publication succeeded in Actions runs 4160 and 4161. Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.

No current implementation, acceptance, release, or deployment evidence is claimed for this planned Task. Any prior implementation may be used only as prototype and discovery evidence.
