Delivery scope

Implement the Settings surface resolved by UIUX-100-SETTINGS, including declared controls, current values, validation messages, save progress, failure recovery, square geometry, keyboard order, and Home return.

Inputs

  • The ReleaseDesignContractV1 baseline from TASK-0117.
  • Valid, invalid, saving, saved, and persistence-failure preference fixtures.

Outputs

  • A design-conformant Settings surface bound to the supported preference allowlist.
  • Deterministic visual and interaction evidence for save and recovery states.

Failure boundaries

  • Fail on unsupported controls, stale values, silent save failure, wrong return path, or visual drift.
  • Keep the prior valid preference visible when persistence fails.

Excluded scope

  • Arbitrary preference keys and account administration remain excluded.
  • This Task does not introduce new preference persistence contracts.

Verification steps

  • Run applications/web/test/design/settings-design-conformance.spec.tsx.
  • Compare valid, invalid, saving, saved, failure, and close-return states against the approved reference.

Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.

No current implementation, acceptance, release, or deployment evidence is claimed for this planned Task. Any prior implementation may be used only as prototype and discovery evidence.
