Delivery scope

Create the Gitea pull_request and push validation workflow that checks out the event commit, installs the pinned pnpm version, uses a frozen lockfile, and calls the same root lint, typecheck, test, and build scripts with separate visible jobs and a required aggregate job. Primary files: .gitea/workflows/application-validation.yaml, tests/ci/application-validation-workflow.test.mjs.

Inputs

  • Gitea pull_request/push event containing immutable commit SHA
  • Repository package.json scripts and pnpm-lock.yaml

Outputs

  • Four Gitea job results plus validation-required aggregate result
  • Uploaded test reports and build logs labeled with the event commit SHA

Failure boundaries

  • The aggregate job fails when any required job is failed, cancelled, skipped, or absent.
  • Dependency installation fails on lockfile drift; workflow must not regenerate or commit the lockfile.

Excluded scope

  • Container publication, GitOps repository changes, and deployment credentials are not present in this validation workflow.

Verification steps

  • node --test tests/ci/application-validation-workflow.test.mjs
  • Run act-compatible workflow fixtures for all-pass and each single-gate failure; compare invoked commands with package.json.

Verified delivery: application PR #58 merged the Gitea application-validation workflow as 2501231e1852f888f65e7d3a9f6c355c18f23e78; current integration retains exact-event checkout, pinned frozen installation, separate visible gates, aggregate failure handling, and bounded validation-only permissions; the focused workflow suite passes 10/10; exact-head integration validation and immutable image publication passed remotely at ade1706b80d1642a6763f2827cfb2e6b3fc8ddaf. Release completion verified on product 1.0.0.0 at GitOps revision 5d3712d89dfbf7dacd993348e55f497d126c7bf9 with Argo Synced/Healthy, exact image digests, authenticated API/database access, and three-world configured-flight acceptance.

No current implementation, acceptance, release, or deployment evidence is claimed for this planned Task. Any prior implementation may be used only as prototype and discovery evidence.
